I have been a professional artist and teacher for many years, painting in a realistic style. I am also a lifelong animal lover, and I enjoy painting portraits.  So, I have decided to combine these interests in a new venture, painting the animals who enrich our lives.

Searching shapes and shadows to unlock the inner essence of an animal or human is like being Sherlock Holmes with a paintbrush, and I love doing it.
